Here’s what you’ll typically see on a Sunday morning with Emmaus:
Sunday Morning Worship
- Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:00 AM, and usually last about 60 minutes.
- We are blessed to be able to meet in our new location! Click HERE for directions.
- Emmaus is a friendly church, so you will likely be greeted with a smile!
- We have no dress code, so feel free to wear anything from your “Sunday best” to your “Friday okay-est”.
- We love coffee and snacks, so please help yourself!
- We come from all different “church backgrounds” (Catholic, Lutheran, no church exposure, etc.).
Children's Ministry
- We love having kids in the service, so feel free to have them sit with you if you'd prefer! However, we believe in teaching people of ALL ages at their level as well, so we have programs set up to cater to kids.
- We are working to launch our Emmaus Kids Program for kids in pre-K to early Elementary once our Kids space is finished remodeling. We have family friendly spaces for families with kids to participate in our services.
- As we said, we love to have kids in service with us but we sometimes kids get the wiggles so we also have overflow spaces with the service livestream if parent want to take advantage.
- Stay tuned for updates for our Kids Ministries!
Youth Ministry
- Before service at 9:00 AM, we have Breakfast Club for middle school students (6th - 8th grade)! We provide a lesson, donuts, and fun for them before the service begins! (During the School Year only)
- On Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, we have a Youth Group for high school students! We believe in raising up the next generation to be people who love and know God, so we foster them on their faith journey with lessons, games, and mentorship. (During the School Year only)
- *Summer schedule is subject to change
Music
- Here at EmmausCC, we have a contemporary worship music style, and believe that the congregation is always the main instrument! So if you’re worshiping with us we encourage you to sing with all your heart!
- We value singing Christ-exalting songs, regardless of how old or new they are, and we believe that our worship music should be all about God and not about us.
Preaching
- At EmmausCC, we preach from the Bible, which we believe to be the Word of God. Our sermons are Christ-centered and Gospel-focused.
- If you don’t have a Bible when you come to visit us, no worries! We have Bibles for you to take; it’s yours to keep (and read)!
Communion
- The first Sunday of every month, we celebrate Communion and share a meal together immediately following the service.
Financial Giving
- We believe that giving out of generosity is a form of worship, so please give financial offerings as God leads you (but if you are visiting, please don’t feel pressured to give). We don’t “pass a plate” during our services, so you can place your financial offerings in the designated box at the Information Kiosk or online under the Giving tab.
